🚨 Diabetic Emergency? Here’s What to Do
Signs of Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycaemia):
- Confused, dizzy, sweating
- Pale or shaky
- Slurred speech or fainting
- May appear drunk or disoriented
✅ If Conscious:
- Give sugary food/drink (juice, lollies, NOT sugar-free).
- Do NOT give insulin
- Follow up with carbs (sandwich, crackers).
- Stay with them until fully alert.
- Encourage a doctor visit.
❌ If Unconscious:
- Do NOT give food or insulin
- Place in recovery position
- Call 111 immediately
- Monitor breathing
